Beef & Veal
All beef and dairy heifers are home bred, coming from the dairy herd. Beef animals are mostly Aberdeen Angus and Simmentel. Friesian steers are occasionally reared for beef, although some of these are now being used for 6 month pink veal production.
Our veal calves are almost 100% male Friesian Holstein crosses from the dairy herd, not particularly suitable for beef production.
