" I was at home the moment I walked in: blazing fire, kids playing board games, adults reading books and newspapers in comfortable chairs - a buzz that only comes from people enjoying themselves. The staff gave me a rare pub welcome and the food - ah, the food! It came straight from Helen's farm round the corner and was organic to its very core. It is a treat to eat in a way that helps, rather than hinders our countryside."
