All our home delivered meat is skillfully hand butchered and then hung from four to fourteen days depending on the species. Our bacon is hand covered in curing salts mixed with a little sugar and then left to cure for about ten days resulting in a full flavoured taste.
One special characteristic of our hardy pig breeds is that their darker root hair shows through the skin of the meat and so wherever you see this “5 o’clock shadow” you know it is the sign of true taste!
Our meat arrives fresh on your doorstep, vacuum or tray packed in an insulated box with ice. Every product comes from Eastbrook Farm, or a British certified organic supplier farm that meets our high standards. So, you know exactly where your meat comes from, and you can come and see for yourself on one of our open days.
