We rear store lambs which means that they are born on other organic farms (a local farm and one in Northumberland) and they come to us when they are a couple of months old. In the winter of 2008 we raised and finished 200 Mule lambs and 300 Scottish Blackfaces.

Early last year James Keller (farm worker and barman extraordinaire!) invested in his own flock of Lleyn sheep and they live here at Eastbrook. Lambing season has begun and James's sheep have produced 15 gorgeous lambs; 6 ewes and 9 rams!

Sheep are important on the farm, as they improve the pasture quality by grazing the land in the autumn once the cattle have been housed, to ensure fresh, clean growth in the spring. And of course they produce the best lamb you’ve ever tasted.
